Details
The Swarbrick 26 is a versatile racer/cruiser that combines impressive performance with a comfortable interior, making it ideal for both club racing and relaxing weekend getaways.
Featuring a high aspect ratio keel and a lead bulb, the design is geared toward maximizing performance and agility on the water.
The cockpit is generously sized for a yacht of this length, and with the mainsheet and primary winches positioned within easy reach of the helm, it's well-suited for single-handed cruising or short-handed racing.
The interior is nicely fitted out with quality woodwork, and the layout maximizes the available space for both comfort and functionality. The saloon features a dinette with a table that can be lowered and converted into an additional single berth.
The galley is equipped with a two-burner metho stove, eliminating the safety concerns and costly certifications associated with gas installations. Just aft of the stove is a deep icebox to keep food and drinks cool. A single sink with a manual hand pump is located forward. The setup is simple, functional, and provides everything needed to cook up a decent meal.
The accommodation is surprisingly spacious for a 26-foot yacht. The forward cabin boasts a generous double bed, while a single quarter berth offers extra sleeping space, along with an additional berth in the saloon for added versatility when needed.
'Liquid Asset' has been very well looked after and maintained by her current owner. The engine was professionally serviced May 2025. The standing rigging was replaced March 2024. The antifoul was professionally done May 2025. A new high quality Victron AGM battery was installed August 2024. No expense has been spared.
The mast is hinged and there are two spinnaker poles and mast lowering tackle included.
In summary, Liquid Asset is a very well-maintained compact cruiser/racer that is ready to sail immediately. She is easy to handle solo, an ideal choice for a first-time keelboat owner, and would also be a very competitive yacht on the river club racing scene.
